Researchers have discovered five types of unidentified fungus growing inside the fruit-

flavored drink (and three of them seem to be partial to the Tropical Punch variety).

The thought of sucking fungus through a straw is slightly stomach churning, but Indiana

State University microbiologist Kathleen Dannelly — who has been studying the Capri Sun

fungi — says they’re “probably” not harmful. Kraft, Capri Sun’s parent company, says,

“Since there are no preservatives in our drinks, mold can grow in a pouch that has been

damaged.” Way to put a positive spin on it with that “no preservatives” shoutout.

GAG ME! NOW REALLY I JUST GAGGED AT THE THOUGHT OF HOW MANY OF THOSE I ACTUALLY SUCKED DOWN! *DEAD*
