PAULA DEEN – Senior Year at Albany High School in Albany, Georgia (1965). Dressed in true Southern belle attire for her prom. Since then, the silver-haired Savannah resident, restaurateur, and cookbook queen has built an impressive empire reflecting her down-home cooking style. In January, Deen created a stir when she announced that she had type-2 diabetes and was becoming a pitchwoman for a diabetes drug.
GEORGE CLOONEY – Augusta High School in Augusta, Kentucky (1979). In high school he wasn’t quite as suave and debonair as he is today, but his prom date sure looked thrilled to be on his arm! In February, Clooney’s date for Hollywood’s annual prom – the Oscars – was his current main squeeze, Stacy Keibler.
FERGIE – (CENTER) Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, California (1993). Stacy Ferguson started performing as a kid doing voice-artist work for two made-for-television “Peanuts” cartoons and as a singer on “Kids Incorporated.” Today, Fergie’s still a pop princess as the frontwoman of the Black Eyed Peas.
ASHTON KUTCHER – Senior Prom at Clear Creek Amana High School in Homestead, Iowa (1996). He’s been the life of the party since high school, when he rocked the dance floor at his prom. It’s not hard to imagine Kutcher was thrown out of his dorm for being too “wild.” Kutcher is still making waves on TV in “Two and a Half Men” and with movies like “No Strings Attached.”
MEG RYAN – Senior Prom at Bethel High School in Fairfield, Connecticut (1979). Already an aspiring actress in this prom candid, Ryan landed a full-time role on the soap “As the World Turns” just three years later. Since then, Ryan has become one of film’s most beloved rom-com queens and the proud mom of new star Jack Quaid of “The Hunger Games.”
