A Boca Raton woman called police this week after discovering someone used her credit card to run up $717 at a Boca Raton Burger King near Mizner Park in two months, reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
That averages about $14 a day spent at the fast-food restaurant.
At first, the 45-year-old woman thought perhaps her son was using her credit card for the burger runs, police said. But he hadn’t eaten at any Burger King restaurants, he told her.
The credit card company told her that on one occasion, the burger-craving bandit used the card at Burger King five times, from early in the morning to late at night.
