The Orange-Osceola State Attorney’s Office announced that 17-year-old Matthew Scheidt would be prosecuted as an adult on two counts of impersonating a physician assistant and four counts of practicing medicine without a license, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
The teen tried to pass himself off as a nurse as early as 2007, when he was only 13-years-old, at a St. Cloud hospital. His aspirations seemed to have grown last summer when he tried to get physician’s assistant credentials at the same hospital, according to records.
In September Schneidt was busted in an Osceola hospital after he performed CPR on a patient in the ER before his ruse was discovered.
