Music legend and former frontman of the group Sly & the Family Stone, Sly Stone, is apparently homeless and living in a van in Los Angeles.  Stone’s, 68, money issues are reportedly linked to substance abuse and financial mismanagement, he is suing his manager Jerry Goldstein for $50 million, alleging fraud and 20 years of stolen royalty payments.

A local couple is said to be helping take care of him, making sure he eats and letting him shower in their house.Just four years ago Stone was renting a Napa Valley, Calif., compound complete with a vineyard. At the height of his success with the Family Stone the musician lived in a Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion that once belonged to John Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas. Stone says his royalty payments stopped in 2009, which forced him to take up residence in cheap hotels and the van.“I like my small camper,” Stone said, according to the New York Post. “I just do not want to return to a fixed home. I cannot stand being in one place. I must keep moving.”

WOW! ITS SAD THAT THEY BELIEVE THE MUSIC WILL PAY THEM FOREVER!!
